sometimes I feel more derby than others -

for instance - if I were to stumble in the house at 1AM on a weeknight, more than a tiny bit buzzed, still more than a little grungy from the practice that ended two hours earlier - I would feel pretty derby.

But the way I'm pretty much guaranteed to feel tomorrow morning when I have to get up early to take my kid to school? Probably not so derby.


In other news, I need to not send text messages after multiple Smirnoff fruity-flavored girly-type drinks.

I'm just sayin'.

In other other news, it's always kind of nice to come home to find my favorite movie of all time on VH1. Yay, VH1.

  • I didn't realize "Smirnoff fruity-flavored girly-type drinks" were "derby". I figured Fosters would be more suitable.

  • The receptionist at my Vet's office is a derby girl. The most un-Derby-like girl I have met. Then again, she's the only Derby-girl I have ever met...so pay no attention to my opinion.
