Dear New Cat

It's your first week, so I'm going to try to cut you a little slack, but if you and the other cat absolutely have to have the Kittyanapolis 500 in the bedroom, could you possibly do it after the alarm goes off? Because there is not a whole lot that's more annoying, on a weekday morning, than being woken up by the sound of a thousand scittering kitty typewriter toes on the hardwood floor exactly 11 minutes before I'm supposed to wake up.

Note to self: If you would stop watching all of those animal rescue shows on Animal Planet (especially while PMSing), you wouldn't feel like it was your own personal mission to try to save every homeless animal in your zip code
