So we went to the county fair this weekend and found it to be more or less underwhelming, maybe I was just spoiled by my previous fair experiences in larger cities. There was a couple of hastily assembled rides, no more than the usual amount of hygiene-challenged carnies and a plethora of fried food. Big whoop.

There was, however, a smelly tent full of faux oddities sideshow tent that my kid and I forked over $4 to a man with 3 teeth to visit. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to be taking pictures inside of the freakshow, but there was no one around to tell me not so, so here are two of the best shots:

the one-eyed lamb, supposedly born alive in 1912 (oddly, there was no mention of the fact that it had 6 legs)

the cow with 2 noses (one of the only two live things in the tent - the other being a miniature pony, remarkable only because it was small.... ooooh, a small pony, will the wonder never stop?)

also noteworthy at the fair was the amount of poe-lice - I've been in Thai prisons with less of a police presence I've never seen so many cops in one place - there were seriously 2 cops for ever one person. Here are the city's finest:

Becky, look at her his butt. It's so... big. I can't believe it's so round. It's just so... out there...
