I smell
Do you ever have a smell following you around, but you can't identify from whence it came? All morning I've been experiencing this phenomenon - fortunately, (for me and those around me) it's not an offensive smell like goat ass or burnt hair, it smells like clean and fresh like soap and I smell it just about every time I move. So I go down the checklist of what it could be (because it's driving me nuts) :
Hair? Nope, while the smell is similar to Pantene, my hair never holds fragrance, and I don't remember what product I put in it this morning, but the smell is too strong to be that
Clothes (ie: detergent, fabric softener)? While my normally copious use of dryer sheets could possibly account for it, I'm wearing a new shirt that I haven't washed yet
Perfume? While I have a cabinet full of scents, I rarely remember to spritz myself before walking out the door
Soap? I've been using some peach bodywash and the smell is decidedly unpeachy
Lotion? I use a peach lotion (see above)
So as a last ditch effort to locate the source of the smell (before giving up and assuming that I've got some kind of tumor that is pressing on the smell glands in my brain) I surreptitiously lean over and sniff at my pits - Eureka!
I forgot that I had switched to a new deodorant - and it's strong - seriously, it should have come with a warning label or something
(Wow, sorry about the lame post - I can't believe I just wrote this)

tis a much better experience to smell your deodorant than your stinky pits.
like the, "i know i put on deodorant, why can i smell my pits?" that sucks.
i thought i was the only girl to check up on the freshness of the pits. my boyfriend laughs at me when i do it but hey, if i smell B.O. i want to make sure it is not mine and correct the situation if it is mine!
