Everybody's Working for the Weekend....

M0nster.c0m has this advertising campaign encouraging people to post their resumes online because "every day employers search for candidates" blah blah blah, "let the perfect job find you" blah blah blah.

While this voiceover is happening, they are showing clips of people who are obscenely excited about their jobs, like "omigod-right-there-right-there-don't-stop" excited.

About their jobs.

Their jobs.

Stop it.

And worse than that would be the the "careers" that these people are pee-your-pants excited about include "busboy", "obvious office grunt" and "movie theater money taker."

I'm sure that there are some employers looking for people on there, but somehow, I don't see the manager of the local cineplex setting up a search agent for "pimply faced youth incapable of making change, unable to read a movie schedule, comfortable sitting behind bullet-proof glass and using a first generation headset microphone (circa 1963).
