so, apparently, St. Patrick's Day is kind of a big deal around here - and by "kind of a big deal" I mean that people come from all over the country, the population of the town swells to 3 times it's normal size and it becomes this beer-scented, chartreuse-tinted village of ill-repute. Many residents refuse to go anywhere near downtown on this weekend. Being that I'm one of those people who hates people, I should probably be laying down in my living room with the shades closed. But will I be doing that?
Of course not.
I'm going to spend my last (!!!) Saturday in Savannah smiling and waving from the bow of a float like the princess I believe myself to be. Somehow the derby got the local newspaper to rent a float and pay the $1200 (!!!) entrance fee so we could be a part of this event. I've never been a part of a parade before, but what a way to go out of town, right?
In other news, I got my last (!!!) Savannah tattoo today -
