further proof that we need to consider being a little bit more polite - seriously

after i ducked out of work a smidge early (okay 3 hours) to do some christmas shopping, i'm walking out of old navy and i see a woman in the requisite pink velour jogging suit (seriously, every other woman was wearing the same fugly outfit - in public - i was embarassed for them) coming across the street and heading for the door - so i pause and hold the door for her. i swear to you that she almost wet herself thanking me - seriously, she was SO excited it bordered a little on manic.

so, please, can we just try to be use a smidge more common courtesy? if nothing else, it will turn total strangers into total spazs - and it's the holidays - and what's more fun during the holidays than mocking people?
