why?

why will i not even consider purchasing a powerball ticket until the jackpot is over 80 million? would 10 million not suffice? wouldn't 5 million be enough for me to purchase at least some version of happiness? wouldn't 1 million be enough to pay down a credit card or two? the sad truth of the matter is that really,when it comes down to it, i would probably dance a jig of joy for $20... and there's your mental picture of the day

  • My favourite comment about the lottery was from David Letterman when someone was talking about the lottery and how they never win. Letterman said, "The odds of you winning the lottery are basically the same as me winning the lottery, and I don't even buy a ticket." Ha! So true.
