The shopping is done (including one trip to Wal*Mart that was so painfully un-fun that I can't even imagine blogging about it )The presents are wrapped (oh, except the ones that I'm taking to my mom's in 2 days)
There's a chill in the air (okay, it's still 60 degrees, but give me a break)
The tree is lit (I can't take any credit for that, it's one of those pre-lit fiber optic ones - the ones that are barely the size of parsley on the side of your plate... hey, do they even still put parsley on plates anymore? I don't think I've seen it lately... of course, they don't even really have plates at Taco Bell, do they... kidding... and off on a tangent... dammit)
