Sentence that I need to hear more often

"Would you like me to toss your noodles for you?"

And, no, I didn't have some goofy, off-color response... well, I did, but I had to keep it to myself since the husband was kind enough to take me on a lunch date - **Note to self, return to PF Chang's sans spouse and order Dan Dan Noodles again.

So, to recap - my husband took me out to lunch and I totally got my noodles tossed. Giggity giggity

  • whoa! ; ) this reminds me of Thanksgiving where the question was boldly asked, "Dominique would you like me to toss your salad?" I am not shitting you. I prepared a wonderful salad, true. My mother was being literal, true. My boyfriend and I laughed long and loud, true.

No one else appreciated/understood the humor and I did not explain it.

  • During a meeting that my GF attended, gardeing was being discussed. Half way through a colleague of her blurted out how she needed to go home that night and shave her bush. My GF was tearing up from laughing so hard. Unfortunately no one knew what was so funny and she needed to explain it to them. Her Collegaue was embarassed that she had said it. I still laugh.
