Who makes snowglobe glass?

Because, whoever they are...they have some answering to do to me....

Our home office sent us this really cute snowglobe, and in my haste I tore open the packaging and let it drop to my desk (which was two inches away)...

So, now, my entire desk, floor, paperwork, and pants have become soaked with snowglobe water...and covered in little white flakes...

It was two inches of a fall...how can that break glass?
