Happy Birthday, LibPrincess

You're now a full quarter of a century old, and legal to rent a rental car (I'm not implying that you're going to ever be the designated driver, because we all heard the drunk dialing debacle)

Quarter life crisis begins.... now

  • Awww, thanks sweetie! I'm already feeling the crisis coming on- felt it last night and it's just continuing through today.

I don't think even a tiara is going to fix this.

  • I heard from a chick in my psych class that, from women ranging from age 25 to 50 or above...age 25 was the biggest perceptual-shift in thinking like an adult versus an adolescent.
Also... it's the age at which you start realizing that the ideals you set forth as a child for yourself...might have to be changed....
"I'll be married at 27..." was mine..., if that were true, I'd have to meet Mr. Right today.

  • When I was a kid, I wanted to be a ballerina and a nurse. Hmm. I think I gave up on that dream a long time ago. Also, I wanted to be married at 22, so I kinda missed that boat by a few years. Then again, I have no desire for marriage anymore, so it's all good!

  • It's just hard to have to swallow that your life isn't going to ever magically become the Barbie Dream Life - once you accept that you don't have to accept all the preconcieved notions of "grown up", you can start having fun... and if Britney Spears wants to be a CSI when she grows up, you can be a ballerina
