Dear Colgate

re: Sparkling White Vanilla Mint

I had been a user, and fan, of Crest's Vanilla toothpaste (I'd even blogged about it before - it's like brushing with minty frosting) but, upon seeing that yours was cheaper, I decided to give it a try. Below are a couple suggestions for you -

1) While the name "Sparkling White" may imply what it does for teeth, the gel is the unappealing color of phlegm - you may want to look into that - no one wants to brush with boogers.

2) When naming a product "Vanilla Mint", you may want to consider giving it the flavor of one, or both of those - yours had neither - It had a hint of something in the beginning, but then nothing - it was sort of like brushing with watered down Diet Sprite mixed with flour.

Now I remember why I never buy you.
