Note to me -

RE: your precious iBook


Please note:

• You are generally acknowledged as the clumsiest person on the planet, you have all the grace of a drunk baby giraffe
• Just because some family members and one of your closest friends are computer people does not mean that you have any of those skills
• Remember how in February, you tried to install an airport card - the wrong airport card - and you kind of forced it in and broke the logic board and were without the laptop for over a week?

Please print these reminders and refer back to them the next time you think you think you have the technical savvy to attempt an upgrade or anything for that matter on your precious iBook. If you had made note of these things earlier, you may not have tried to upgrade the memory last night (which you don't really know how to do) and done something to some inner part which blacked out the screen and made it unusable - again. Another broken logic board? Perhaps, but knowing your luck, it's something vastly more expensive (and more catastrophic to the stuff you have on the hard drive - you know all your writing that you never back up, but we won't get into that, will we?)
