new math?
In driving around Texas, I saw a billboard that stated:Drinking + Gambling = Car Accidents
I don't know what the billboard was advertising, but I don't know that this is the most true equation - I mean, I've been to Vegas many times and not once have I been in a car accident there.
Sure, it's possible that if you're drinking and gambling, you could get in an accident, but there are so many other equations that would be more true - for instance:
Drinking + Indiscriminate Sex = Walk of Shame the Next Morning
or
Drinking + Online Shopping = "WTF?" next time you see your credit card statement
or
Drinking + MySpace = Being Blocked From Much of Your Friends' Lists
or
Drinking + Mexican Food + Roller Coasters = Vomitorium
or
Drinking + Dancing = Mortifying YouTube Videos Posted By Your Friends
I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with trying to get people to stop drinking and gambling (except in Vegas, of course), I'm just saying that I think the Republic of Texas could come up with a better billboard
