if it didn't involve paying so much attention to paris hilton, i would totally try to get a job at E online

mostly because of this quote (well, the part highlighted in blue, anyway) about fresh waves of airtime devoted to nick, jessica, ashlee, ad nauseum:

"In a statement, MTV executive Lois Curren expressed amazement at viewers' connection with the Simpsons and Lachey, and threatened to "take fans even deeper into their lives." (Well, we suppose that last part wasn't technically a threat.)
