my little pony

My sister's post reminded me of a story...

A couple of years ago I was having lunch with a couple of girls that I worked with, Erin and Michelle - (here's what you need to know about Erin - she's one of those tall, slutty blonde girls with a stripper boyfriend and a mystic tan, who, no matter what you tell her, always has a bigger, better, or worse story that has happened to her - personally) - Michelle is telling us about these ginormous problems that she's having in her marriage (she thinks her husband wants to leave her, she thinks he's cheating, she's just had an abortion), she's crying, I'm practically in tears, it's one of those Oprah show moment where girl friendships are formed, I'm feeling close to my (metaphoric) sisters, I'm feeling like we're really bonding, then, as Michelle pauses to heave in a breath (because she's pretty well sobbing by now), Erin pipes up with: "my mom is buying my daughter a pony"

Thanks for keeping up with the conversation, asshat - if she were a guy, I would have said that so much raw emotion had shut down her brain and caused her to look for a happy place, but being a girl, she really didn't have to much of an excuse... oh, other than being a narcissistic fucktard

  • Asshat is indeed awesome. Anyone who does something stupid in their car is going to be Asshat from now on.
