Patience - now available in a tube
A couple of weeks ago, I purchased Sally Hansen's Maximum Moisture Lip Treatment and I was intimidated by it at first - I mean, do I really need maximum moisture? What if it makes my lips too moist? What if that's what happened to Lara Flynn Boil or Meg Ryan? My lips are big enough to begin with, I don't need to look like I'm carrying around a pair of salmon in my mouth. But I got over my intimidation and gave it a try - I love it - it makes my lips glossy without being gooey or sticky - neat. But the only problem is the speed at which the goo comes from the tube - picture thick molasses outside in Alaska in January. You twist and twist the little tube, all the while staring at the little spongy thing on the top waiting to see the shiny stuff peak out - finally, a teeny bit comes out and you hurridly slap it onto your lips before it decides to go back inside after seeing it's shadow. Then half an hour later you look and there's a whole ounce of the stuff just waiting for you. Gah - where did that come from? It's like phantom gloss.
This is a problem for me because I'm kind of an instant gratification kind of girl, when I want gloss, I want it right then, not a half an hour from then. A half an hour from then, I might not even remember that I wanted gloss.
But today, I have finally arrived at a solution. I twist the tube a few (hundred) clicks, head out to lunch and then come back and voila! - I'm all ready to gloss -
Yeah, I know, I should really have my own show on the Do It Yourself Network

Then just like you said, I pull it out 20 minutes later and like a damned volcano it erupted!
good idea for a solution!!! Yay! The only problem is that the eruption is much more gloss than my little lips can handle! I need to cut down on the twisting!
