Don't you hate it when your kid is sick so you're stuck at home and you're too lazy to update your blog so the first thing people see is the lame post you put up on the weekend which wasn't that funny to begin with? Yeah, me too.

But I will pass along this personal safety tip - if you think you hear the pool fence open and you're fairly sure that you hear someone in the backyard, the safest course of action would probably be to peek out the window or something, not to whip open the sliding glass door and run outside like you're a ninja or something... because you're totally not... and if it had been a certified villian and not just the super cute meter reader guy, you could have totally gotten killed... in your pajamas
