yet another MEME
but this one is from CheddarX - it's cheezier!1. What's your favorite kind of weather? - Call me crazy, but I love it when it's kind of drizzly and gray
2. Describe the worst storm you can remember? one of those lame-wad hurricanes in Florida that stranded me in Dallas when I was on my way to my dad's house - Florida was messed up by the time I finally got there
3. How much of a factor was the climate in choosing where you would live? okay, here's the story, I was born in Southern California and grew up there but then I met my husband and we realized that we'd never be able to afford a house there so we decided to move to Seattle because I'd always liked rain - so we moved up there and ended up with a house and it wasn't the rain that got to me, it was the constant gray - even when it wasn't raining, the sky was GRAY... so we decided to head down to Arizona - no gray skies here, right? MEH - no gray skies, just horrid, oppressive heat - and now (or soon) Savannah - which is warm, tropical and humid - and I'll probably hate it in a few months. Basically, weather/climate isn't a huge factor for me, since I'm not what you'd describe as "outdoorsy" (just wondering - does anyone every describe themself as "indoorsy"? I think I'm going to start)
4. Favorite rainy day activity? walking in the rain, splashing in puddles (no, seriously)
5. Would you rather have wind and rain or wind and snow? Wind and rain, please - wind and snow would be fun for about a day - after that I would be over it
6. Earthquake or hurricane? Earthquakes, please - I grew up with them (and please don't point out that I'm moving in the wrong direction to stay away from hurricanes - thanks)
7. Morning or night? if I'm inside, morning - I love how the house is quiet and everything is still. if I'm out - night - I love driving at night and seeing the city lights and the lights in homes - it's kind of a sense of voyeurism being able to see into people lives, see people having dinner, watching tv - you'd be amazed at what you can see through those night vision goggles... oh, nevermind-
