I watch too much t.v.

1) On "Six Feet Under", I was kind of glad that Nate died because he's been kind of a tool this season - and I hated that whiny Quaker weasel he ditched his wife for.

2) On "Hell's Kitchen", the boy with all the tattoos won - I was happy about this for many a reason:

• he's all tatted up (including swallow tats on the sides of his neck, like the ones I have on my shoulders)
• he's kind of cute in that scroungy kind of musician way that I like
• he seemed like a really decent guy and a good cook
• he named his restaurant after a nickname he has for his wife
• the other guy named his restaurant after his dog
• the other guy was like a balding Fred Flintstone
• the other guy had a fiance named Buffy - no one is named Buffy
• the other guy pronounced the type of food he was making as "eye-talian" - fucking stop it, if you can't pronounce it right, how can you expect to cook it right?

3) Fox's new show, "So You Think You Can Dance", should really be called "So You Think You Can Hold My Attention For More Than Five Minutes" - it was like "American Idol", but painfully dull and completely devoid of snark - couldn't they just put on "Family Guy" reruns instead? At least that would be funny.

4) I like that Burger King got away with commercials featuring a faux-metal band called Coq Roq - it almost makes me want to forgive them for the commercials with the creepy king costume thing - almost.
