Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

I really really like Autumn/Fall/Space-between-Summer-and-Winter

Yesterday at work, the heater kicked on, you couldn't really hear it, but you could smell that burnt dust smell that, to me, signals the official, official end of Summer. That smell fills me with happy.

I like Fall because of the weather change (half because I think I look cute in sweaters and half because I feel like I spent the entire summer glossed with a thin sheen of sweat), and because of the changing scenery, and because of the changing food (soup and stew and comfort food).

I like the transparent bite in the air and the smell of fireplaces at night and the feel of cozy slippers on my feet and I love how still the world feels in the morning.

And speaking of changes, did you hear that one of the Arquette siblings is going to be going through a change of his own? Alexis Arquette (Boy George in "The Wedding Singer") will be getting a little snip/tuck of his own and becoming a chick - and A&E will be there to document it all for our morbid curiosity viewing pleasure. Wow, just when you think reality tv can't sink any lower...
