Designer Imposters

There's a CPA person in our office today and every time this person walks by me, a cloud of Elizabeth Arden's Sunflower perfume follows.

I distinctly recognize the smell because it was all I would wear in my senior year of high school. I was pretty much obsessed with it, it was the first "real" perfume* that I really really liked.

That smell brings back memories... most of which I can't share with you, but smelling it on this CPA person is greatly troubling... mostly because this CPA person is a dude and the last time I checked, Sunflowers was a chick perfume.

Sometimes I wish I didn't have a superhuman sense of smell.


*unless you count Exclamation or Coty Wild Musk, but I don't because they're even more embarassing than the Sunflowers and I would never admit to actually ever having worn them.
