Remember what I said about my job not being the greatest job ever?

Me: "Hey, [Bitter Smoker Chick], are we closed on Monday for Martin Luther King, Jr's birthday?

Bitter Smoker Chick: (after about 5 minutes of uncontrollable laughter) You're jokin', right? You don't hear [the "N" word] around here all the time?

Me: You've got to really hate African-Americans to not want to take an extra day off. Someone could declare "Cate's A Big Bitchy Cow" day and I'd be sitting at home eating Chex Mix and watching the parade on tv.
