question

is the cashier at the grocery store justified in treating me like a snob if I don't help out with the bagging of my groceries? (I'm not talking about going through the self-checkout - which is usually easier because then I don't have to talk to anyone)

I'm not saying that I'm above it, it's just that it isn't my job - they have baggers who are hired specifically for that - I don't expect them to help me shop or follow me home and put the stuff away, so why do they expect me to help in putting the stuff in bags?
