2 completely unrelated things
1) My kids party worked out okay - he had about 7 of his friends show up - although most of these kids brought cousins and siblings, so it looked like an even bigger party than it was. He got to play basketball for about 3 hours straight, so it was a success in his eyes. I took some pictures, but my camera borked them up and deleted them or something - whatever, Kodak Easyshare software, thanks for nothing. The best moment of the party was the pinyata - when it was knocked out of the tree (but not yet broken) those kids swarmed on it like seagulls on a bread crust - it was kind of amazing (and I was pretty glad to get rid of all of that leftover Halloween candy)2) When I wake up in the morning, I stumble out to let the dogs outside and flip on my coffee maker. Last night, I decided to be smart and set the timer thing to go off about 10 minutes before the alarm goes off so that the coffee could be ready by the time I stumbled out to let the dogs out. I was pleased with myself for being so smart and efficient... until the coffee maker turned on and woke up the dogs who decided that they had to pee IMMEDIATELY. So either someone needs to invent a ninja-silent coffee maker, or I'm stuck just turning the damn thing on myself... ahhh, technology.
