Why did I not know this about Maverick?

Where have I been that I hadn't heard this before?

I'm more or less on the internet 24/7, my job (in spite of the fact that I've been phoning it in for 6 months or so) is to research stuff, Google and I are on intimate terms, and I have an endless capacity for useless knowledge, including celebrity trivia, so how come I'm just finding this out now?

I want to know why you guys didn't tell me about this.

Who knew that Tom Cruise was only 5'7"?

  • I imagined he was short, but then all of the talk shows and other jabs that the media makes at him and other celebrities solidified for me that he was indeed a short little shit. I can't believe you haven't heard at least the after-math of everyone actually meeting Tom Cruise then slamming him for being so short, nevermind coming across it in research.
