Adventures in (soon to be un)employment

I was up delivering something to Bossman's office and he didn't even look up when I set it down on his desk. I didn't mind, since he's been ignoring me all week, but when I started to leave, he bellowed: "Hey! Do something..."

I turned around, expecting him to finish the request, but instead there was a long pause, like a full thirty seconds. I looked over at the project manager sitting there and he rolled his eyes.

Finally, I bowed deeply to Bossman and said, "Sure thing. Something specific, or can it be something of my choosing?"
