Just do what Happy do.

So I meet a woman. She introduces herself as Happy. Hi, I'm Happy! Now let me give you a little visual. Happy is from deep South money. (Perhaps Cate has run into her at the 5 and dime?) So I guess that is what plantation owners named their little girls, Happy. So as Happy and I work together (No Tim, we are not kissing), she begins to talk with me (Imagine the accent for a moment). She IS very happy, which makes me wonder if naming a child with such intentions makes a difference? If so, I should have tried "Passive" or "Accommodating" because it seemed to have worked on Happy. The funny part is when Happy begins to talk about herself in 3rd person...So then Happy goes....And Happy is NOT doing that...Happy knows what she likes...and finally....What should Happy do? Startled and a bit amused, I reply, "Ya know Happy just gotta do what happy do-do." Did I just say Happy-do-do?

  • I found you through BE and am glad. Chatty hates it when people talk about themeselves in the third person. She thinks it's a sign of being a freak.

    Chatty will be back!

  • It's like the Happy of Christmas Past and the Happy of Christmas Future!

And I always liked the name "Jolie" for a girl --- happy, in french.
