Can we talk about self-love for a minute?
I'm not talking about masturbation - I have no issues with that, I mean, what you do on the comfort of your couch with your webcam is YOUR business.I'm talking about tattoos.
Now, I'm a big fan of the ink. As you may or may not know, I have a couple of my own and will, most likely, end up with more eventually. So I, obviously, have no problem with people who choose to permanently adorn themselves with art work, but twice within the past two days, I've seen girls with their own names tattooed on some visible part of their bodies.
It's one brand of stupidity to get a boyfriend/girlfriend/lovah's name tattooed on yourself - I mean, love is love, but tattoos are forever, you know?
But it takes DeeDeeDee-dom to a whole new level when you feel it necessary to get your own name etched on your wrist.
Seriously.
I don't get it.
I mean, I can almost get the concept of getting someone else's name tattooed - I'd never ever do it, but I can kind of get the idea.
But your own name?
Um... why?
Are you going to forget it?
Do you have some kind of medical blackouts but don't want to wear one of those id bracelets?
Are you so committed to your retail career that you always want people to know your name?
Are you THAT awesome and you love yourself THAT much that you had to do it as a tribute to yourself?
I mean, I'm extremely awesome, but I don't know that I'd even get a t-shirt saying that, because that would just seem brag-y.
