Dear Idiots of Corpus Christi

See all of those barriers blocking off the beach access roads? Not sure if you've heard or not, but there's a Category 2 hurricane off the coast. The beaches are CLOSED.

This means that you shouldn't be on the beach. You shouldn't be surfing, you shouldn't be tailgating, you shouldn't be taking pictures of your kids, you shouldn't be on the beach at all. It's for your own safety. You should not have to be forced by police officers to leave the beach. You should also not return to the beach immediately after the police have left.

Wishing that the cops would just let natural selection take its course,

When you see that newsguy standing out in gale-force winds, do you ever wonder why that guy pissed off to be sent out there? I mean, really, do we need a news camera 20 feet from the eye of the storm to know that there's a hurricane out there? Not really, since, you know, we could, oh, I don't know, look outside...
