I always figured he'd eventually experiment, I just didn't think it would start at 13

All kids experiment, and I'm just trying to be realistic and be prepared, but I really did figure that I had at least another couple of years before The Kid started this kind of thing.

Today, fresh out of the shower, he walks into the living room lovingly stroking his face.

me: What are you doing?

him: Feel how soft my skin is

me: um... what?

him: seriously, feel how soft it is.

me: did you... use my aloe and apricot exfoliating scrub?

him: It's so soft, it feels like velvet!
